New Maruti Suzuki Wagon R rolls out
A brand new K10B engine with a capacity of generating 68PS of power and 90Nm of torque is what you get when you buy the all new Maruti Suzuki Wagon R. Finally, after a long wait Maruti Suzuki has launched the new Maruti Wagon R in the market. The car has a lot of new features and comes at a competitive price of about Rs 3.3 to 3.5 lakh.
The new engine has been designed to reduce the weight of reciprocating parts leading to an increasing in fuel efficiency and decrease in noise and vibrations. innovative approach towards reducing the weight of reciprocating parts, thereby increasing fuel efficiency and making the powerplant more noise and vibration free.
The Maruti Wagon R is an all together New Car because not only is the engine new but even the platform on which it is made is a new one. An added wheelbase of 40mm has made it a 2400mm car with an increase of 100mm in length making it 3595mm long. Space is now in abundance in the all new Wagon R. The New Car has a L-shaped front suspension frame and the company claims that the three-point suspension is fit for Indian conditions.
The New Maruti Wagon R has also become a bit safer with an added distance between the front bumper and the front seat occupants, ABS and airbags option in its top-of-the-line models and a seatbelt alarm as standard. The overall looks of the new Maruti Wagon R have become more rounded. The front grille has been altered, the headlights and bumpers have also been redone. Also, the tail lamps have been restyled along with the rear window glass that gives the new Maruti Suzuki Wagon R a better look and feel. The steering has been borrowed from Swift and the dashboard that has a new central console with integrated stereo AUX-In for ipod connectivity and larger circular control for the air-conditioning.
So, it won't be an exaggeration to say that the new Maruti Suzuki Wagon R is an altogether new car and not just a mere updated version.
