Toyota Camry Solara
Will the GPS system from the 2008 Toyota Camry work in a 2004 Toyota Solara?
IF so, will I need a kit or anything?
The Factory Navigation systems for Toyota are more involved than just the head unit itself. They need the GPS antenna, but they also tie into the wheel speed sensors and steering wheel directional sensors so that they use "dead reckoning" to show your position on the map even if you lose GPS signal. So, unfortunately, there is not really any reasonable way to install a GPS system from a Toyota equipped with it into one that was not originally designed for it.
