Softail Classic
Can you trade a car in at a motorcycle dealership?
I have a 2004 Mustang MACH 1. Competition Orange, low miles, and with gas prices as they are, I am ready for another bike. I am looking to trade my MACH 1 for a Harley Davidson Heritage Softail Classic. Does anyone know if they will take the trade? I would rather ask a dumb question on here (if it is), than at the dealer. thanks much. DP
There's nothing stopping a motorcycle dealership from taking your car in trade, it's just a matter of finding one that is WILLING to take one in trade.
Bottom line - if you find one willing to take your car in trade, expect to get a VERY BAD trade value on your car. There's not point in arguing with a dealership about it, it's just the way it is. Otherwise it's not worth the hassle for the motorcycle dealership.
Good luck. I think it's a bad idea.
