The fourth generation Ford Taurus engines cover the years of 2000 to 2007. It's the fourth of six generations and the cars in the series have a 155 or optional 200 horsepower engine. There were two types of Ford Taurus engines. The first engine was a 3.0 Liter SFI Vulcan V6 and the second engine was the 3.0 Liter DOHC Duratec 30 V6.
