New Used Cars
is there really that big of a difference in the quality if a new or Used Car? what i mean is let's say you have 2 cars, a brand new one and a very well taken care of used one....is there just as much of a chance of something happening to the New Car as the Used Car in regards to like a part messing up or something going wrong with the engine, etc etc...?
a used car that you take good care of has less chance of things going wrong. and if you work on it yourself and have experience fixing and replacing parts, then you dont panic when something happens.
too many people with new cars have no idea what to do when something happens, they do not check the oil or maintain them and then the cars break down far too soon. they also have spent so much to buy the car that they have no money for repairs.
IMO, you should not own new until you have had years of experience with used cars.

Production of predominantly two-seater sports cars was concentrated at a factory in Abingdon, some 10 miles (16 km) south of Oxford. The British Motor Corporation (BMe competition department was also based at the Abingdon plant and produced many winning rally and race cars. In the autumn of 1980, however, the Abingdon factory closed and MGB production ceased. Between 1982 and 1991, the MG marque was revived on sportier versions of Austin Rover's Metro, Maestro and Montego ranges. After an interval of barely one year, the MG marque was revived again, this time on the MG RV8 - an updated MGB Roadster with a Rover V8 engine, which was produced in low volumes. The "real" revival came in the summer of 1995, when the high volume MG F two-seater roadster was launched. |
