API Limousine adds Sacramento’s Newest 2008 Lincoln Navigator to Fleet
API Limousine, located in Elk Grove, Ca. recently announced the addition of Sacramento’s newest 2008 Lincoln Navigator to the company’s ever expanding fleet of vehicles. API’s CEO John Costan explains,†We went through an exhaustive search to locate and purchase this exquisite 14 passenger vehicle built by the premier coachbuilder of Tiffany Motorworks of Brea Californiaâ€. The new Navigator sports a black on black appearance with stunning chrome wheels, impeccable leather seating, and three brilliant flat screen TVs. The limo’s IPod-ready 10-speaker surround sound is just a bonus. API states that the additional vehicle is necessary to meet the increasing capacity demands of API’s extensive client list.
Even before the addition, API has been doing something special. Despite Sacramento’s struggling economy, API has seen ridership increase by at staggering 70% in the month of August which is historically one of the slowest months of the year for the limousine business. Costan attributes this unprecedented growth to the acquisition of corporate agreements and the strategic marketing partnership between API Limousine and California Suntan Spas. “We owe our success to our strategic partnersâ€, Costan explains. “Together, we are able to provide our mutual clients with a comprehensive basket of services from wine tours to wedding planning to personal health care and more.†It sounds like they are doing it better than most.
API has also launched one of Sacramento’s most attractive “Arrive Alive†programs by delivering clients to and from Sacramento’s hottest night clubs. Titled the VIP Club Crawl, API offers limousine service for groups of 6 or more for a meager cost of $10 per person per hour. The book is intended for students of navigation departments or colleges, and was originally published in the Soviet Union. The book is an outcome of teamwork by Vladimir Olkhovsky, Anatoly Tantsura and Vladimir Yakovlev. At he time of original publication, Professor Olkhovsky was prorector of the Murmansk Navigation School. He has written Oceanography in the Service of Modern Navigation with V. Dremling (as coauthor), Radio Aids to Dead Reckoning, A Reference Handbook of Fishing Navigators (as editorinchief), etc. Tantsura was assistant professor at the Navigation Department of the Murmansk Navigation School. He has contributed articles on fishing oceanography to various periodicals. Yakovlev is an engineer at the Research and Development Sector of the Murmansk Navigation School. He has contributed to A Reference Handbook of Fishing Navigators (edited by Olkhovsky) and a number of articles to periodicals. Air Navigation $79.66 The principles of air navigation are the same for all aircraft, big or small. Air navigation involves successfully piloting an aircraft from place to place without getting lost, breaking the laws applying to aircraft, or endangering the safety of those on board or on the ground. Air navigation differs from the navigation of surface craft in several ways: Aircraft travel at relatively high speeds, leaving less time to calculate their position en route. Aircraft normally cannot stop in midair to ascertain their position at leisure. Aircraft are safetylimited by the amount of fuel they can carry; a surface vehicle can usually get lost, run out of fuel, then simply await rescue. There is no inflight rescue for most aircraft. And collisions with obstructions are usually fatal. Therefore, constant awareness of position is critical for aircraft pilots. The techniques used for navigation in the air will depend on whether the aircraft is flying under the visual flight rules or the instrument flight rules. In the latter case, the pilot will navigate exclusively using instruments and radio navigation aids such as beacons, or as directed under radar control by air traffic control.
