thinking of leasing 09 GTI MK5 any tips ?

I have a 2008 GTI with the DSG transmission. I am in love with my car. All I want to do is drive it. I get upset when I get where I am going because I would rather be driving it. A few times I took a deliberately longer route to work so I could spend more time driving it. It is a fantastic car. Even though you are paying alot, you get an aweful lot of car.
I bought mine last month as a certified pre-owned car. It only had 10k miles on it and I paid 18,300 for it. You might want to think about that too. You get a better warranty than if it was new and you don't take the hit in depreciation plus you get a practically New Car.

A little about the car.
the interior is great. You could spend all day driving and not really be worse for the wear. It's very comfortable, the seats are supportive, the controls are easy.
The ride is very controlled and stable, not harsh, but still crisp. Even at 100MPH it feels stable, planted and under control.
The engine is superb. It has all of it's torque available from 1800rpms all the way up to 5k when it starts to taper off a bit.
It just accelerates so effortlessly and it sounds fantastic when you stab the throttle.

I traded in an 2007 Honda Fit for this car and I wish I had done it sooner!
