Luxury Motor Yacht Endless Summer
Endless Summer is a 130 foot 2001 motor yacht. The yacht had been renovated and refitted again in 2009. Endless Summer is a luxurious motor yacht which provides fast cruising speed at 22 knots. It can accommodate 10 guests in its luxurious staterooms.
Completely refitted in 2009, Endless Summer had been fitted with electrical and mechanical equipment of the latest types to ensure its reliability and safety. It has zero speed stabilizers, which provide ultimate comfort levels for rest.
One of the most noteworthy features about the yacht is its quiet acoustics when it is cruising. The yacht offers beautiful views of the ocean from its massive windows in the master cabin, sky lounge and in the main salon.
The main salon of the yacht along with the dining room is located on the main deck. Both of these rooms have been fitted with modern entertainment equipments like a 42

I am trying to buy a really nice customized flag for an 84 foot motor yacht. Are there specific flag shapes that are significant to yacht owners or the type of yacht they own? (Example: rectangle, swallowtail / guidon, tapered swallowtail / burgee, pennant) Also, do the colors of the flag have specific meanings?
The Yacht is a few years old and docks in Puerto Vallarta and San Diego. The boat is named Machiavelli and it is the second boat owned by the owner. He does not belong to a yacht club.

First, fly the stars and stripes from a flag staff mounted on the stern. It should be 3x5 ft. or 5x7 ft. for special holidays like the 4th of July.
Second, the owner can fly a burgee of his choice, or own design from the bow of his yacht. Pennants, are reserved to show passages like Atlantic crossings, 1 inch for each day at sea, and fly from the masthead.
I think Chapmans, the sailors bible, has a chapter on flag etiquette.
