Im buying my first ATV. Help?!?!?

Given your size, they are fine. Fast bikes, yes. Adrenaline rush, yes. Being as it is your first ATV I would weigh out your options though. I live in the desert, so we have plenty of sand and plenty of wide open spaces. You have two groups of guys: The guys on "sports" and guys on "utilities". Both groups have reasons for why they have the bikes that they have.

If you are certain that you want a sport, by all means. Both are great bikes that you mentioned and will handle your size fine. If you are looking for sheer speed and acceleration, yep, roll with the Sport Bike....And the maintenance that comes with it. Mixing fuel, cleaning the sand from the chain, jetting it, etc.

Personally, I am lazy. I have a Yamaha Kodiak 450 4X4. It is a sealed drive system, so no chain/sand issues, no smacking the sprocket because of ground clearance on trails, etc. It takes regular old gasoline, not a two stroke mix. It is automatic, so I don't have to worry about shifting. No clutch means I can be sipping my coffee, a water, a beer whatever, while riding. It will do just a little over 55 mph (I'm 5'11", 185#). It will go anywhere that a sport will and then some, just not as fast.

Weigh your options and what you really want. If you want a quick accelerating bike that will on occasion scare the hell out you, the bikes you are thinking of are both perfect.
