Gmc Yukon Slt
dome lights and reverse lights won't work correctly?
hi guys. 
I have an 03 Gmc Yukon XL SLT and while I was trying to install a viper car alarm system in the vehicle, all of the dome lights except both driver and pass door lights stopped to working first, and couple of weeks later, reverse lights stopped to working. Also I noticed that while gear in reverse and any of the doors open, all of the dome lights come on.
any idea? X(

Well, I was trying to find out where has short. First I checked black/tan? dome light wire at BCM, black plug, pin E, and it's not supplied any power with the dimmer switch, or door open.
However, it's energized when shift gear in reverse. Also with no B/U LP fuse, which connected back-up lamps, the black/tan? wire isn't energized.
But the same color wire at the dimmer switch draws some current.
Anyone knows where the wire is connected? Is there any other harness or plug through the dimmer switch to BCM plug?
