What welder should i use for my dune buggy?
Im building a dune buggy and i dont have a welder. I also dont want to spend mutch money on it so what welder should i get that would work best
that all depends on the material but the best bet would be a nice mig and someone that knowsw what they are doing because dune hopping and beaking something that you cant fix way out in the booneys aint know fun take from my next door people.get a nice mig not a cheppy one a good one like a lincoln with a big bottle of argone gas and lay some good hot beads and you should be fine oh i almost for got your going to spend some bucks total about 700 to 1500 bucks welder,wire,gas,glasses/facesheild,gloves,leathers,wire brushes,tips{various sizes for welding} and the most important the plug.you got to plug into 220 volts somewhere so now your looking at adding 2 more breakers to your electrical panel to wire it at 220 the cord from that to your disconect will be plugging to your nice brand spanking new mig. have fun and good luck
