What is constant-mesh on the transmission of a dirtbike? And is it good to have a wet clutch?
Constant mesh means the gears are always synchronised and gear changes are smoother and more positive. Wet clutch will stay cooler and wear better if you slip the clutch a lot, 90% of dirt bikes are wet clutch, that means they are contained within the engine and are lubricated by the engine oil, however make sure you don't use friction modified oil in the engine otherwise the clutch will start to slip, be guided by your local bike shop man re oil.
