When you're a student, you get used to sharing a whole bunch of stuff to save money; meals, shopping, rooms, and showers to name but a few. It's worth expanding that out to so many more things, and not just as a student.
One way of saving a bit of cash at the beginning and end of term is to do a bit of van sharing. The most basic way of doing this is finding people that you live (or are going to live) close to, and hire a van for the day that you're all moving out.
