I am trying to search for a Used Car Online and have noticed...?
that cars in California are cheaper by at least a thousand than those here in Arizona (same make, year and model)... if i decide to Buy A Car in CA... what will i need to bring it over here in Phoenix? will there be a lot of addtl expense in terms of, i don't know... registration etc.?

Car in big cities often have lower price because they have higher wear and tear for the same given miles.
You will have to get a temp CA registration (and insurance) to drive it to Arizona. Then transfer it over to your name in Arizona.
Where you buy the car (and where it is from) should make no difference to you when you transfer and register the car.
The BEST idea would be to
(1) buy it in CA
(2) Fed Ex the title and bill of sale to Arizona
(3) have a family member transfer the title and registration
(4) Fed Ex the new plates back to CA
(5) then drive it back.

The only big problem is that if you were to Buy A Car in CA and then have problems in Arizona, it would be difficult to just go back to the seller for a fix (like another signature, etc.).
