Cheap Repossessed Cars
Will my credit balance out?
I bought a car about 2 years ago and then traded it in for a better version a few months later so the total value of the car was like 30,000 after i traded it. I have about 6,000 paid of now but I can't afford the payments anymore... my credit is bad to begin with so i can't just let it get repossessed. If i buy a cheaper car that i can afford and stop paying for the other one will my credit not be as affected because of the New Car payments? I understand it would be somewhat damaging in theory but does it work that way or am i completely off base here?
Nope that's crazy reasoning. You need to really address this problem, if you don't take care of it the right way, it will snowball on you, and get out of control. I would talk to the car company first or the bank where you got your loan from, and see if there is a way to get out of this debt. After you solve this problem, then you can look into acquiring a cheaper car. Doing it your way will cause you problems in the long run. Watch it !!! Good luck.
