Purchasing Small Aluminum Fishing Boats - 3 Tips To Get The Best
When you plan to buy a small Fishing Boat made of aluminum, you should always ensure that you are getting your money’s worth. 3. Look out for the quality and life span of a boat.
You should make sure that you know things such as the lifespan and the quality of the boat before you buy it. The seams are very often a problem with these boats, so ensure that you protect the seams from the beginning. If you take care of minor jobs on the boat it will pay you in the long run, so maintain and keep your boat clean and weather proof it well. Once you have ensured all these things your boat should give you many years of fault free service.

What materials would I need to add a live well to a 12' aluminum fishing boat?
I have added wooden fishing platforms on the front and back with a trolling motor on front with an outboard on back. This is not leaving me a heck of a lot of room. How big should it be to enable us to fish most bass tourneys? FYI the boat is a 12' Meyers
here's what i did on my 12ft gamefisher i took a medium sized cooler about 2 1/2 feet long by a foot or so wide and drill a few holes on the lid so you can slide a hose from a battery operate aerator but also get a few bait bubble tablets and put them in with the fish also put a few hand fulls o ice in about every hr. the way i did it just met the qualifications for my B.A.S.S. Club.
P.S. drill a few more small holes through the lid so when the aerator it going the air doesn't pop the lid off.
